The home’s sensitivity to its environment goes beyond form and materials: the use of energy modeling in the design process will allow the home to achieve net-zero energy use. Photovoltaics and battery storage are among the latest building technologies being used, along with greywater recycling, all-electric appliances, and advanced insulation systems.
